Paul Hylton, MS, ATC, CSCS
Head Athletic Trainer
Paul is in his fifth year as an Athletic Trainer at Averett. Paul received his Master in Education degree from the University of Virginia in 2005 and his bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Averett University in 2003. In the summer of 2002 and 2003 he worked as an intern at Michigan State University. In 2003, Paul had the unique opportunity to work with the New England Patriots during pre-season training camp. Paul is also Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Titleist Performance Institute Golf Fitness Instructor. Paul resides in Danville, with his wife, Kristin.

 

Heidi Roach, MSEd, ATC
Assistant Athletic Trainer
Heidi is in her second year as Averett’s Assistant Athletic Trainer. Heidi received her Bachelor of Science degree from Averett in 2006 before moving to Virginia Beach to obtain her Master of Science in Education Degree from Old Dominion University in 2008.  Heidi spent 2 years as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Virginia Wesleyan College. Heidi currently serves as the clinical coordinator for Averett’s Athletic Training Education Program. She resides in Danville with her husband, Max.

 

Chaffon Mouzone, BS, ATC
Intern Athletic Trainer
Chaffon is a first year Intern Assistant Athletic Trainer at Averett. Chaffon received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training from Liberty University in 2008. Chaffon spent the 2008-2009 academic year as an Intern with Liberty University’s Sports Medicine Team. Chaffon is from Richmond, Virginia.
