Averett's Psychology major

Psychology is both a science and an application for solving socially significant problems. Averett's psychology department emphasizes learning through practical experience. Students apply knowledge from their courses by participating in both research and clinical experiences. Recognized as a model program for facilitating undergraduate research, our research facilities allow all psychology majors to conduct a line of original research and present their findings publicly at annual poster sessions.
