Barksdale Study Abroad Scholarship Application
Established by Mary Morten Barksdale for Averett students who wish to study in a foreign country. The recipient must be a full-time student with 60 or more credits and a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. Interested students can click the above link to apply.

AIFS Scholarships

Students from affiliate institutions may automatically receive $400 grants for semester programs and $200 grants for summer programs. In addition, each semester AIFS offers 40 scholarships of $1,000 to students who demonstrate high academic achievement.

CAPA Scholarship Awards

Students from affiliate institutions automatically receive $300 grants for Summer Programs and $600 grants for Semester Programs. CAPA offers ten (10) $5,000 scholarships per Academic Year to affiliate students who demonstrate high financial need.

Averett is excited to announce scholarship opportunities through our newest affiliate CISAbroad.

70% of all CISabroad students receive study abroad scholarship or grants. As an affiliate of CISabroad, you will automatically receive a $250 grant for a semester program, or a $100 grant for a summer or short-term program. Other scholarships include Early Bird Grant, Green Scholarship, Photo Journalist Scholarship, Leadership Scholarship, and Correspondent Scholarship.
