Averett uses the FAFSA information to determine your eligibility for federal assistance as well as state and institutional need based financial assistance. You can complete the FAFSA any time after January 1 of the year you plan to enroll. Averett does not have a priority deadline but does recommend that new students complete the FAFSA before March 1. Apply for a Federal Pin (personal identification number) to complete your FAFSA. Important: Your parents may need to apply for a PIN also. The PIN is used to electronically sign the FAFSA and access your information. Make sure Averett's Title IV code (003702) is listed. The FAFSA processing center will send a copy (SAR) to both you and Averett once your application is processed. Please review for errors and correct as needed.
