If you are interested in our traditional format, four-year undergraduate program (Danville Virginia Campus), we invite you to apply online or you may print and mail the PDF application. Alternatively, you may contact admissions to have a paper copy mailed to you.

*All new, entering traditional, undergraduate students must be admitted by the Office of Admissions and cleared by Student Financial Services by the earlier of August 15, 2012, or by campus move in date, or by the first athletic team practice date in order to enroll at Averett University for the 2012 fall semester.

Our adult degree programs are designed to enable students to learn and retain knowledge as efficiently as possible. The program is a responsive and creative approach to fullflling Averett University's commitment to providing adults with the skills and credentials critical to success in today's competitive environment. The Adult Professional program has helped over 8,000 adults to obtain their undergraduate or graduate degree.

Teachers who possess a license or who are students seeking licensure will benefit from Averett's Master of Education Program. Classes are taught on the Danville Campus in a traditional classroom format to allow for optimal teacher/student interaction. Evening and summer classes are available.

| Individually Designed
Education for the Adult Learner (IDEAL) |
Our IDEAL Program allows adult students who cannot enroll in
a structured curriculum to develop, with
assistance
from
an academic advisor, a program tailored to their own schedules and background.
Students earn credit through class attendance, correspondence courses from
accredited institutions, or through completion of Averett independent study
courses.

In our Continuing Education Program, we offer several affordable non-credit classes that encourage community members in Danville and the surrounding area to explore "interest" topics that enrich their lives. We have a variety of classes that allow participants to interact with Averett faculty and staff in a relaxed, noncompetitive atmosphere. No pressure to study - only freedom to enjoy and learn.
