James Thurnes, Admissions Counselor

James is a 2007 graduate of Averett University where he earned a B.S. degree in Sociology/Criminal Justice with a minor in Religion.  During his years at Averett he was a member of the Cougar’s Football Team and was enrolled in the Honors Program.  During his spare time James enjoys video games and spending time with family & friends. James is a native of Newport News, Virginia and currently resides in Danville.

James Thurnes handles the states of  North Carolina, Tennessee, Washington, Idaho,
California, Nevada, Oregon,  Utah, Arizona, Alaska, & Hawaii and the Virginia Counties of Lee, Scott, Washington, Wise, Dickenson, Russell, Buchanan, Tazewell, Smyth, Bland, Wythe, Carroll, Pulaski, Giles, Floyd, Montgomery, Roanoke, Craig & Botetourt.
