Veteran's Benefits
Averett University is approved by the Department of Veteran's Affairs for veteran's benefits. The V.A. Coordinator for the traditional program located in the Registrar's Office (located in Main Hall) coordinates veterans Assistance Programs for traditional students. The VA Certifying Official for students in Averett's Graduate and Professional Studies Program can be reached at 1-800-283-7388, ext. 14949.

Veterans' educational benefits must be considered when calculating a student's eligibility for financial aid, and the student is responsible for reporting this information to the Financial Aid Office. Students receiving VA benefits must provide a letter of confirmation from the Department of Veterans Affairs to the Financial Aid Office. Current programs and courses of study at Averett University have been approved by the Virginia Department of Eucation for the payment of veretan's benefits.
