Visiting Dates

A great way to visit Averett is on one of our Special Visitation Days.   Throughout the year, we host several of these days which allow interested students and their families the opportunity to visit the campus and to talk with others who are considering Averett. 

A Cougar Preview Day will give you the opportunity to see what it is like to be a member of the Averett family. While on campus you will have the chance to: learn about application and admissions criteria, generous financial aid packages we offer, meet with current students and share in their experiences, tour our vibrant campus, enjoy a complimentary meal in our dining hall, and meet with members of our dynamic faculty in different academic fields. You will also have the opportunity to tour our other impressive campuses, The Averett Equestrian Center, The Averett Flight Center and North Campus (Athletics).

Founder’s Scholarship Banquet (By Invitation Only)
March 16, 2013

For those admitted students who have been awarded the Founder’s Scholarship, Averett would like to congratulate you on your academic achievement thus far with a formal banquet. You will have the opportunity to meet with current Averett students to discuss life on campus, meet with current members of our faculty, enjoy a delicious banquet lunch provided by Bon Appétit, our dining hall service and meet Averett’s President Dr. Tiffany Franks.  By attending the day each student will be able to increase their academic scholarship by $1,000 per year.  Take this opportunity to experience what it is like to be an Averett student and start turning your BIG DREAMS into BOLD FUTURES.
