The Averett University athletics department and the Cougar Club held the annual Athletics Banquet on Tuesday, April 22 to honor all of the student-athletes for their service on the field and hard work in the classroom. During the banquet, the university honored Nikki Huffman as the Campbell Sportsmanship winner, Jordan Maupin as the Cougar Club Female Athlete of the Year, and Cory McDaniel as the Tommy Foster Male Athlete of the Year.
