Outstanding Faculty & Staff awards
It's time to nominate your co-workers for the annual Outstanding Faculty and Staff awards. Please start considering who you would like to nominate and drafting your letters for submission. Nominations must be in no later than the close of business April 7 and can be e-mailed:awards@averett.edu.

Reminder About Jut's Café's New Hours
Jut's Café's has changed its hours. The new hours are:
Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. & 8 p.m.-11 p.m.
Saturday, Closed
Sunday, 5 p.m.-7 p.m.

Singers Raffle
The Averett Singers are having a raffle to help raise funds for their trip to Carnegie Hall next month. The drawing will be held during the 2:30 p.m. matinee of "Once Upon a Mattress" March 28. Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20 and are available anytime from a Singer, during mealtimes in the dining hall or in the lobby of Pritchett before the performances and during intermission.

Prizes for the raffle include two gift certificates from All About Style near Piedmont Mall, a Wii game console, an ipod nano, a spa massage and restaurant gift certificates.

Bookstore Update
The bookstore will close Thursday, April 1 at the end of the day and will remain closed through April 9 while Follett takes over. It will reopen Monday, April 12. All textbook orders for the summer and fall should be sent to Janet Roberson, who will be collecting them until Follett comes on board.

Poor Prince Dauntless the Drab, the only thing he wants is to be married. Unfortunately, his mother, Queen Aggravaine, makes it impossible for him to find a wife. Come find out if there's a happy ending to this story when the theatre and music departments perform "Once Upon a Mattress."
