Squash the Bug
A Flu Clinic for faculty, staff and students will be held Tuesday, Oct. 12 from Noon-5 p.m. in the SGA conference room, which is located on the fourth floor of the Student Center. Bring a copy of your insurance card at the time of your vaccination.

Super Senior Saturday
The Career Center and Schoolfield House Booksellers are hosting Super Senior Saturday and Graduation Fair on Saturday, Oct. 9 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in the multi-purpose room of the Student Center. Seniors can place orders for caps, gowns and class rings. Students may also have their resumes reviewed, find graduate school information and register for gift cards. For more information contact Petrina Carter in Career Services at ext. 15629.

Hump Break
Every Wednesday, in Jut's Café, FREE coffee and muffins. You also have the opportunity to speak with your co-workers (a triple bonus). Make plans to stop by, even if it's just to say hello.

December Pay Date
As usual, University will receive their paychecks early in December. This year's December pay date is the 20th.

Career Change Brings Alumna Back to School
Like many students in school, Deborah Oakes, '98, wanted to have a stable career. That's why she chose to major in biology, not art, which was her first love. Flash forward a decade and she is back at Averett pursuing a teaching degree and a master's degree that will allow her to teach art.
