Andy Fitch, controller. Fitch has been in the accounting field for 25 years with experience in healthcare, tribal government and higher education industries. Prior to joining Averett he worked for a small, private specialty hospital in Anchorage, Alaska. Andy and his wife, Katie, have been married 21 years and have three grown sons with families of their own. They are planning the final phase of their move to Danville sometime in August. |

Dr. Mary Anne Blum Condon, chair of nursing education. She joins us from Alfred State College in Alfred, N.Y. where she served as professor and director of the BSN and associate degree nursing programs. She has more than 23 years of military nursing experience in the Army Reserve. |

Terri Jones, assistant to the chief financial officer. Jones is moving from director of conferences, camps, and special events. Prior to coming to the University she was administrative assistant to the president at Manchester College with additional responsibilities to the executive vice president as well. Jones is a five-time Indiana State Champion Seamstress, competing with garments she has sewn and modeled for herself. She has two children and two step-sons as well as five beautiful grandchildren with a sixth on the way. |

Dr. Janet Laughlin, vice president for academic affairs. No stranger to Averett, as the wife of Dr. John Laughlin and an Averett alumna (MBA class of 1987), she joins us from Danville Community College where she was the dean of student success and academic advancement. |

Flinn Appointed to Serve on Policy Board Debbie Flinn, director of development, was appointed by Danville City Council to serve as the city's representative on the Dan River Alcohol Safety Action Program Policy Board. Congratulations, Debbie! |
