This holiday season add some low-fat recipes to your list of favorites for entertaining. This one was developed by the 3-A-Day of Diary campaign. But unlike your old recipe for Baked Spinach Artichoke Dip, this dish features low-fat plain yogurt and part-skim Mozzarella cheese. The result is delicious, plus one serving has only 80 calories and 2 grams of fat. It also provides 20% of the recommended daily calcium. So it's a winner all the way around! Baked Spinach Artichoke Yogurt Dip

Makes 8 servings
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 20 minutes

1 (14 oz.) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
1 (10 oz.) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
1 (8 oz.) container lowfat plain yogurt
1 cup (4 oz.) shredded part-skim Mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1 garlic clove, minced
2 tbsp chopped red pepper

Combine all ingredients except red pepper and mix well. Pour mixture into 1-quart casserole dish or 9-inch pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20-25 minutes or until heated through and sprinkle with red peppers. Serve with toasted bread or whole grain crackers.
