 | Looking for Fabulous Prizes! Each year the alumni office hosts a senior dinner for traditional students. This year's dinner will be Feb. 2. During the dinner we plan to give out fabulous prizes to the seniors as they prepare for their final 87 days of being a student. If you have a fabulous prize you would like to donate to the cause (a giftcard to a local business, something Averett related, etc.), please contact Dan Hayes at ext. 17252 or stop by Alumni Hall. Students will be receiving invitations to come if they are graduating in 2012.

 | Live Healthy! The Live Healthy America 100-day challenge involving weight loss and/or increased physical activity will run January 23 through May 1. This year, Linda Lemery is captaining the Averett Less is More team, and there are eight team member slots open. If you're interested please contact Linda at ext. 15636 or llemery@averett.edu.
"Being a part of this loose network of support really helped me move toward achieving my own weight loss and physical activity goals over the past two years," Linda said. "It helps to have support."
Cost of participation is $20. Members get a t-shirt, access to the website and team support. The entire $20 goes to the Live Healthy America initiative.
