The community outreach and enrollment committee is researching the effectiveness of four-year guaranteed tuition on enrollment and retention at universities comparable to Averett and whether this would be an effective tool to use here. In addition, they will be surveying faculty, staff and students to determine their involvement in community activities.
The student life committee reported that a website is being created for SGA that includes an online feedback form for program suggestions. In addition, the SGA is working with the communications office to develop a newsletter similar to Coffee Break.
