 | Excel Training Offered
Faculty and staff are invited to participate in a hands-on workshop by Instructional Technologist Kim McMurtry on Excel 2003, 2007 and 2010: Basics. Participants will explore how to use Excel to enhance efficiency and productivity in their work, from maintaining a department budget to creating a grade book.
This one-hour workshop will be offered June 20-28 in the Frith 207 computer lab. Visit the instructional technology page to register for this workshop or upcoming ones. If you have questions about this workshop, email Kim at kmcmurtry@averett.edu.

Hubbard Receives Award
Jeffrey Hubbard, assistant director of operations with Aramark, was presented the Boy Scouts’ 2012 Waldon France Scoutreach Scouter of the Year award by American Legion Post No. 29. Jeffrey is a scoutreach coordinator for the city of Danville and trains volunteers to be scout leaders. He has worked with Aramark for 14 months.
