 | Dining Hall Announces Winter Hours Bon Appétit began their winter hours of operation on Monday, Nov. 12. The dining hall is open Monday-Friday from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Breakfast is served from 7:30-10 a.m.; lunch from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.; and dinner from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday the dining hall is open from 9 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Brunch is served from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and dinner is served from 5 p.m.-7:30 p.m.

 | Basketball Seasons Start It's basketball season! Come cheer on the men's team for their first home game on Friday, Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m. as they take on Montreat College. Then on Saturday, Nov. 17, there are back to back games with the men's team competing against Virginia University of Lynchburg at 3 p.m. Then the women take the court for their first home game at 5:30 p.m. against Montreat College. Faculty and staff can attend the games for free.

 | State of the University Address Reminder: Averett President Dr. Tiffany Franks will give her annual state of the university address next Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 11:15 in Blount Chapel prior to the regularly scheduled faculty meeting.
Everyone is encouraged to attend.

 | Volunteers Needed for Late Night Breakfast Exams are just around the corner and so is our annual late night breakfast. If you've never participated before, it's a great time to interact with our students. Volunteers are needed Thursday, Nov. 29 from 10-11:30 p.m. to flip pancakes, pass out food and clean-up!

 | Averett Cares Theatre Professor Jackie Finney is continuing to recover at home following surgery on his heel.

Women's Soccer Team Celebrates Banner Season The women's soccer team went undefeated during the regular season in conference play and won the USA South conference tournament, defeating CNU 3-2 in overtime. These championships were the first in program history.
Taylor Ortman, Pernilla Milton, Sandra Johansson, Malin Borjesson and Mathilda Hansson were named to the All-Tournament team. Pernilla Milton was also named Tournament Most Valuable Player, and Head Coach Carly Pearce was named Coach of the Year.
Nine ladies were named to the USA South All-Conference team: Pernilla Milton, Sandra Johansson, Mathilda Hansson, Malin Borjesson, Camilla Sjoren, Catherine Onarheim, Suvi Pipponen, Charlotte Thibault and Emma Olsson.
Pernilla Milton and Sandra Johansson were also named to the Academic All-District team.
