coffeebreakAU Student Spotlight
The Graduate and Professional Studies (GPS) Program has a Student Spotlight program. Each month, the academic advisors pick a student from each campus and have the student answer a few questions about his or her experience here at Averett.

Meet Art Costa, a BBA student who anticipates graduating in December. "I'm counting the days!"

What is your motivation for obtaining your degree from Averett?
This has been a personal goal of mine. I did not finish college like most of my high school class and earning my degree is something I have wanted to do. Since my company pays for most of the tuition, it was a no-brainer to finish on my own terms.

What do you most like about your degree program?
I really enjoy the one night per week class schedule. It allows me to continue my full-time job, while still allowing me plenty of family time.

What advice do you have for your fellow classmates and future AU students?
Get into a good study group! I have had the pleasure of being in three fantastic study groups. Not only does a good study group provide support when one of us is in need of help, I have also become great friends with all of them as well.

coffeebreakAU Student Spotlight
Meet Chantelle Jackson, a BBA student. She plans to graduate in December 2014.

What is your motivation for obtaining your degree from Averett?
My motivation for obtaining a degree is quite simple. Success! I believe success is the best revenge to anything in life that may try and trick you into believing certain things are unattainable.

What do you most like about your degree program?
Averett's GPS program is blessed to have instructors and staff that care and understand life and its stumbling blocks. The instructors and staff are very committed to helping you navigate your path to personal success.

What advice do you have for your fellow classmates and future AU students?
One tip I could offer to a fellow classmate and future AU student is undoubtedly to never give up! Where there is a will, there is a way. With the commitment and dedication of the AU instructors and staff you will complete your path to personal success.
