Homecoming

During a gala held on Oct. 25 at the North Campus, current students and alumni held placards announcing how much the University has raised so far in its first comprehensive capital campaign.  The University’s total goal is $25 million.

November 2012

In this season of Thanksgiving, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for the generosity of so many who have supported Averett.  During the Big Dreams BOLD FUTURES gala on October 25 at the E. Stuart James Grant Convocation and Athletic Center, we announced a goal of $25 million for the University's first comprehensive campaign.  Thanks to the many generous supporters who have already pledged or donated, we are well on our way toward achieving this goal.  I am excited to be able to share that we have already raised more than $19 million towards this milestone.  Every dollar raised is an investment in a student's life, the University, and the region.

As we work to achieve the goal, we will update you on our progress.  If you want more information about the campaign and are interested in learning how you can play a part, please visit our website at www.averett.edu/campaign where you will find details about our initiatives as well as information about how you can help.

As we count our blessings, we are thankful that you are part of our Averett University family.  Wishing you a blessed and beautiful Thanksgiving.
