That message rings clear this week as I am pleased to announce that thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, Averett will open a community/university bookstore on West Main Street. Our hope is that this will not only be a gathering place for our academic community but a gathering place for neighbors and friends. It will be a comfortable place-the kind of place in which you want to spend time, pick up a good book and settle into a cozy chair. Gift to Fund Community/University Bookstore
