The Averett Cougar is hard at work helping remodel offices in Main Hall for Averett Central, which will move Averett's registrar, financial aid and student accounts offices onto one hallway. When students return in August they will find a convenient location for all of their business needs.

Exciting change continues at Averett campuses around Virginia. In Danville, we're building Averett Central - where students and families will be better served through one convenient location for the key offices of Registrar, Student Accounts and Financial Aid.This repurposing of the ground floor of Main Hall means lots of hammering, drilling and shuffling of offices. So does our rapidly approaching move to the Riverview Campus for our Adult Professional classes and staff and administration. This fall, students in Averett's Adult Professional Program will learn in brand-new classrooms in the heart of Danville's Historic Tobacco Warehouse District.

Include Averett in your summer plans! We're hosting several alumni and friends events in Virginia and North Carolina.Additionally, I'd love to see you at one of our upcoming campus ribbon-cutting events: on June 14 at our new Richmond campus in Midlothian; on June 15 at our new Chesapeake campus. Please contact our Alumni Office for more information at 800-AVERETT, ext. 15676, or alumni@averett.edu.

Please visit Averett and see what we're up to this summer,
