Logging In                 

 

Option I:  To log into IQ. Web to access your student information you must have an @averett.edu email account and password.  If your login attempt is unsuccessful, please go to Option II outlined below.

 

 

Option II:  Contact the Computer Center Help Desk @ 1-434-791-5720 for assistance during the hours of  8:30 a.m. –  4:30 p.m.   Be prepared to give identifying information:  Complete name, student identification number, and/or date of birth.  Go to Option III if you need assistance after office hours.

 

If you do not have a current account, or if you have forgotten your email login and email password, go to Option III.

 

Option III:  If you do not have an Averett email account, or you are having problems logging into IQ.Web, you will need to complete a form for processing.  From the Visitor screen, click on the Request Access option in the Secure Area menu, then click on Current Members of Averett University without IQ. Web access, then click on the Web Support Form.  Complete the form and click on the Send Request button at the bottom of the form.  To receive your new account:  You must provide an alternate email address or a telephone number.

 

 

 

Once you log into IQ. Web, you are now ready to access the Role(s) assigned to you. 

 

Roles are based on the individual record types defined in Averett’s student database, PowerCAMPUS.  These record types include specific groups such as students, or alumni. As a member of the Averett community, you may have multiple Roles (record types) available to you when you log into IQ.Web. 

q       Averett University’s electronic academic record keeping began in 1990.  If you attended prior to 1990 and need access to your grades or transcripts, please contact the Registrar’s office.

 

Roles have specific menu items assigned.  The Role you are currently in will display at the top of the menu.  The Role will also appear highlighted in grey on the Change Role page.  To change Roles, click on the change role menu selection.  To select a role, click on the key icon next to the description of the role.                   

                                   

Oval Callout: Clicking on (highlighting)  any  Role will  change the menu options to the left.  The Role you are in will appear at the top of the Menu.  See the RED arrow.

 

The maximum login attempts have been set to five (5) for your protection.  If your account is locked out, you must contact the Computer Center Help Desk @1-434-791-5720, or complete the help request form located at http://www.averett.edu/compcenter/hds.html to have your account reset.

 

The session timeout setting is twenty (20) minutes.  If you leave IQ.Web unattended for 20 minutes or more, you will be prompted to login again.

 

It is strongly recommended that you log out of your browser when you close out of IQ.Web.

 

You must be in good financial standing in order to view your unofficial online transcript or your online grades.              Definitions of financial and academic holds are available under the Online Account Balances menu.

 

Your assigned @averett.edu email account is used for all Averett University correspondence.  Please check often.
