Who's Who Among Students American Universities and Colleges

Who's Who was founded in 1934.   Selection for membership is based on academic scholarship, participation in co-curricular activities, citizenship, positive contributions, development and leadership.   Each year approximately 1,500 institutions of higher learning are represented among Who's Who recipients.

All students on the attached list have met the qualification as defined below:

1. Students must show evidence of high academic ability.
2. Students must have demonstrated participation and leadership in academic and extracurricular activities.
3. Students must be in good social standing.
4. Students must exemplify good citizenship and service to the university.
5. Students must have the potential for future achievement.
6. Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and 80+ hours.
7. Only juniors, seniors and graduate students matriculated in a four-year undergraduate or graduate curriculum are eligible for nominations.
8. Traditional students are eligible (including employees).

Students may be nominated by faculty, staff, or students. Nominated students will be contacted by the dean of students office to complete an application for Who's Who. Applications will be reviewed for selection by a committee made up of members from the faculty student development committee and student life staff.

Nomination forms must be received in the Dean of Students office by 5:00pm Friday, February 4, 2011
