BLUE AND GOLD DAY ALL OVER THE COUNTRY today and Saturday
Wear your Blue and Gold and meet with alumni doing the same in your hometown!

11 a.m.–1 p.m.  Alumni Career Expo – Multipurpose Room, Student Center
Come share your professional experience with current students. Share your “if I knew then what I know now” insight.

11 a.m.–1 p.m. Taste of Home Lunch Contest (CAB) – Dining Hall, Student Center

1 p.m. Homecoming Golf Outing – Danville Golf Club – $30 per person

2-4 p.m. George J. Falk Flight Operations Center Open House – Airport

5 p.m. Powderpuff Football Game – Soccer Practice Field, North Campus
This is the first part of the Residence Life Reunion. This intramural event has grown over the years.        

6:30 p.m. Homecoming Hometown Party – Danville Community Market
$25 per person

9 a.m. Hall of Fame Breakfast – North Campus – $15 per person

9 a.m. CSU Pancake Breakfast – West Main Baptist Church – $3 per person, $10 per family
For ANYONE who wants a great breakfast, not just CSU families.

10 a.m.  Equestrian Center Open House – Come visit your horse

10 a.m. Alumni Soccer Game – North Campus

10:30 a.m.–1 p.m. Tailgate Alley – North Campus
Club/Affinity receptions and tailgate parties
Register for a free tailgate space, reserved on a first-come, first-served basis close to the entrance.
Live radio remote
Club Carnival and spirit display – bring some money to support the clubs and organizations

Noon Memory Lane – Visit with Faculty and Staff – North Campus

4 p.m. Men’s Soccer vs. Richard Stockton College

4 p.m. Women’s Volleyball vs. Christorpher Newport University – Senior Recognition Game

4–6 p.m. Tours of Campus
Start at Schoolfield Booksellers – Whether you are an alumnus who wants to see your old room or a parent that wants to see where the stories are happening, this tour is for you. The old dining room is the student success center. The really old dining room is now Averett Central.

6 p.m. When going out to dinner, please support businesses that support Averett (lists and directions available at football game).

6:30 p.m. Reunion and Awards Barbecue Dinner – $10 per person
Averett has successful and inspirational alumni. Alumni and friends of Averett will receive awards at this dinner at the President’s Home.

8 p.m. (or earlier) Saturday Evening Get-togethers
Everyone is encouraged to join together at Kickback Jack’s. KJ is putting together a great evening where you can see your friends and buy yourself a delicious beverage!

9 p.m. Student Party – Student Center
The annual Homecoming Dance is always a good time. Any recent alumni who would like to attend MUST pre-register.

Sunday, October 21

10 a.m. Service of Remembrance – Blount Chapel
A special chapel service to honor members of the Averett community who passed away in the last year. Led by students.

11 a.m.–1 p.m. Sunday Brunch – Student Center
Averett’s Sunday brunch is visited by members of the community every week. Join us for a special Homecoming Brunch as a chance to see folks before you hit the road for home.
