Please note we are adequately staffed with adjuncts holding an MBA or Master's Degree in Management, however we encourage you to apply if your MBA or Master's in Management includes a concentration with 18 graduate credit hours in Finance, Accounting, Economics Marketing, Human Resource Management, Statistics or International Business.

Our greatest need is for faculty with a Ph.D. in Business/Economics and can teach face to face in the Commonwealth at one our nine locations. Areas of greatest needs are disciplines in: Accounting, Finance, Economics, Research/Statistics, Operations Management, and Marketing. The qualified candidate must hold a doctorate degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline.

We are seeking SACS qualified facultyto facilitate adult learners in a participative problem-solving environment. Averett is searching for adjunct faculty who can facilitate in one of the programs listed below. To teach graduate courses you must have doctorate degree.  To teach undergraduate courses you must have a minimum have a master’s degree and a doctorate degree is preferred.  Faculty is required to have minimum 18 credit hours in the discipline taught.  For example, teaching undergraduate Marketing requires a master’s degree in the discipline or at least 18 graduate credits and a master’s degree.  Teaching graduate Marketing requires a doctorate degree in the discipline or doctorate degree and 18 graduate credits in Marketing.  The same standard applies to all disciplines listed below.
