Position Description/Application Process
Institutional Research and Effectiveness provides data and analysis to advance university planning and program evaluation. It supports departments across the institution in documenting compliance with internal policies and external standards.
Reporting to the Director of Institutional Effectiveness, the Research Analyst performs database queries, prepares internal reports and fact books, and completes external surveys: IPEDS, NCAA, Peterson’s, US News & World Report, reports to the State Council for Higher Education in Virginia (SCHEV), and others.
The IR Analyst supports the Director and departments across the campus in assessment of student learning and administrative programs through standardized tests, survey research, focus groups, quantitative and qualitative analysis.
