Electronic Books in the Library Catalog

Over 50,000 Netlibrary electronic books are listed in the Library Catalog and accessible to all Averett students, faculty, and staff. If you are connected to Averett's Danville campus network, you can link directly to online books from this part of the catalog record:

"To read this electronic book, select:
connect to this eBook online"

If you are working from another location, you will need a special Netlibrary password.

Click here here to create this password, using your last name and Averett ID number to access Netlibrary's create account function through our proxy server.

Create your Netlibrary password, then use it to log in at NetLibrary whenever you select an electronic book from the Averett Library Catalog.

Use your Netlibrary password to login at the NetLibrary site whenever you select an electronic book from the Averett Library Catalog.

To limit your Library Catalog search to electronic books, use the "Limit to Netlibrary eBooks" check box before or after you enter a search.

All Averett students and faculty have access to our print collection and interlibrary loan books.  If you are a GPS or IDEAL student and not taking classes on the Danville campus, the library will checkout print books to your account and ship them directly to your home or office address.

Use the interlibrary loan book request form, or contact the Reference Desk for assistance.
