Remote Access to Electronic Sources

As a current Averett student or employee, you can connect to subscription databases and electronic journals from any campus or off-campus Internet location. When prompted to log in, enter the Averett web services login you use for Blackboard and Self-Service.

If you do not have a Blackboard/Self-Service login, please complete the form at http://www.averett.edu/support. Be sure to include your 9-digit Averett ID number and preferred email address on your request.

If you do not know your Averett ID number, please call (800-543-9440; 791-5692) or e-mail the library (aclib@averett.edu). You ID number is not your Social Security number.

To access subscription resources from your home or office, select an electronic resource from Databases, A-Z, Subject Guides, or the Journal Locator.

Cookies must be enabled on your web browser. As long as your browser session remains open, you will not be prompted to login again, regardless of how long you search or how many databases you use.

Your database searches are anonymous. The library does not record user identity with searching activity.
