The piece is entitled "Shiki: Seasons of Japan" and is a Fantasia on Japanese Folksongs, dedicated to the victims of the 2011 earthquake and tsunami. To mark the one-year anniversary of this national tragedy, the new work will be performed by the Grammy-winning LAGQ with guitar orchestras of young students in the U.S., conducted by Mr. Fujii.
