Equestrian Program Holding Dressage and Combined Test Schooling Show

Averett University's equestrian studies department is holding a dressage and combined test schooling show on April 14 at the University's Riding Center in Providence (1231 Gammon Rd.), N.C. Interested participants need to register by April 9.
Classes offered for the combined test are: crossrails, 2011 USDF U.S. Introductory Test B – fences all crossrails; maiden, 2010 U.S. Equestrian Beg. Novice Test A – fences 2'-2'3;" beg.-novice, 2010 U.S. Equestrian Beg. Novice Test B – fences 2' 6;" novice, 2010 U.S. Equestrian Novice Test A – fences 2' 11;" training, 2010 U.S. Equestrian Training Test A – fences 3' 3." For dressage, all 2011 intro through second level tests are being offered including musical freestyles.
Cost for the combined test is $40 and $25 for the dressage test. USEA rules apply, except braiding and coats not required. All riders must wear protective helmets when mounted. Horses are required to have a negative Coggins test within one year of entry. There are no refunds after the closing date unless the show is cancelled.
