Faculty Member Receives Fulbright

June 6, 2013

Dr. Catherine Clark, assistant professor of French and English and director of the study abroad program, has been selected to participate in the Fulbright International Education Administrators Program this October.

The purpose of this program is to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of France through exchange. As one of twelve recipients nationwide, she will travel to Paris, Bordeaux and Strasbourg for a series of briefings, campus visits, appointments with selected government officials, networking and cultural activities, and meetings with French international education professionals. Upon her return, she will schedule a round-table presentation and discussion in order to share her personal and professional experience with the Averett community.
