USDF Faculty Leads Clinic

October 4, 2013

On Tuesday, Oct. 2, Bailey Cook, United States Dressage Federation (USDF) faculty, led a clinic at Averett's Equestrian Center. Students in all different levels of classes had the opportunity to ride with Cook in private, semi-private or group lessons.

Shoulder-ins were the hot topic of the day as Cook guided everyone through the exercise, even Department Chair and Assistant Professor Ginger Henderson. The students enjoyed the learning experience, and everyone was extremely grateful for the chance to ride in the clinic.

Equestrian students have the opportunity to ride with Cook at least twice a semester. Cook is a certified USDF Instructor Training through Fourth Level, as well as a USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist.
