KDP Donates Books to Women's Shelter

November 12, 2010

The Alpha Zeta Chapter of Averett and Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education donated more than 200 children's books to the Caswell County Women's Shelter in North Carolina. The books were donated by members as well as Averett faculty, staff and the University's library. The books will be used by the children and mothers who have to call the shelter home. This was the first literacy service learning project of the AZA chapter, which was chartered April 24.
