December 27, 2010

Averett University's Office of Admissions will hold an open house Monday, Jan. 17 on Martin Luther King Jr. day to share with prospective students and their families the benefits of an Averett education. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. in Pritchett Auditorium.

Before the day begins, students and their parents will hear from Dr. Calvin Snowden, a member of Averett's Board of Trustees. Following Snowden's presentation, students will have the opportunity to sit in on a class while parents receive information about academics, financial aid, athletics, enrollment procedures and student services. Students and their families will be treated to a complimentary lunch in the dining hall followed by tours of campus.

Optional auxiliary tours of the equestrian facility and aviation facility are available. For information or to register for this free event, call 434-791-4996. To register and/or view the full schedule see the MLK Day Schedule.
