South Boston Job Fair Rescheduled for February 8

Averett University's Graduate and Professional Studies (GPS) Program will be hosting a job fair at Riverstone Technology Centre (1100 Confroy Drive) in South Boston Feb. 8 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The job fair was originally scheduled for Jan. 11, but was rescheduled due to inclement weather.

Several area businesses who are currently hiring will be at the job fair including Halifax Regional Health System, Danville Regional Medical Center, Dollar General, Lowes, Swedwood and Doc u Systems. In addition to providing job seekers with the opportunity to meet with potential employers, the job fair will also feature workshops on résumé writing and interview skills.
