Averett to Hold Aviation Day on March 18


March 3, 2011

You're invited to Averett University's Aviation Day on Friday, March 18, at 4 p.m. at the university's flight center at the Danville Regional Airport.

See how far technology can take you, come for a closer look at Averett's new full-motion flight simulator. The Redbird FMX simulator allows Averett students and area pilots to experience flying in all sorts of locations and conditions ... without leaving the flight center.

Attendees will also be able to meet and talk with Averett alumni with successful careers in aviation. Light refreshments will be served and a drawing will be held for a flight in one of Averett's airplanes.
