Happy Holidays!

I have thoroughly enjoyed my first five months at Averett University!  There are many rewarding aspects about being president of this extraordinary institution, but by far I most enjoy the opportunity to meet and interact with our students—your sons and daughters.  We are fortunate to have such talented men and women, not only in the classroom, but on the stage, playing fields and in the community.  I'm so pleased they chose to attend Averett.

It's hard to believe the end of the semester is upon us and exams are starting this week.  I know you are eager to have your student home for the holidays and I wish you and your entire family a wonderful holiday.  Thank you for allowing us the privilege of working with your student.  I look forward to celebrating the start of another meaningful and productive semester with your student in January.

With Gratitude,

franks
