Homecoming Weekend Sept. 25-27

Averett's Homecoming celebration for alumni, students and families will be held Sept. 25-27 with activities at both the Main and the North campuses. A variety of activities are planned over the course of the weekend so check out our line up of activities and see what we have to offer.

Something new this year is a party Friday night beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Community Market. Dinner is provided by Texas Steakhouse and music from local Danville favorite Backstreet. Adults 21 and over are invited to attend. Tickets are $20 per person. While you're dancing the night away, kids can have their own fun during "Night at the Museum" at the Danville Science Center. Tickets are $10 per child.

Prior to the football game on Saturday, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., reserve a space at Tailgate Alley. Register for a tailgate space, reserved on a first come – first served basis. A tailgate party for all will be hosted by Ham's. Kids activities are available.

2 p.m., Volleyball v. Christopher Newport University – North Campus 4 p.m., Women's Soccer v. N.C. Wesleyan – North Campus 8 p.m., Volleyball v. N.C. Wesleyan – North Campus
• Sept. 26
1 p.m., Football v. Washington & Lee University – North Campus
