• Pay deposit                                                                                           
• Read over information
• Check your AU E-mail      
• Log into Blackboard and check “New Student Prep” course   
• Look over task list in Blackboard

May

• Complete Housing Application online  (if living on campus)
• Make sure all financial aid paperwork has been completed
• Check your AU E-mail

June and July

• Complete Health History Form, copy Insurance Card, complete Student Information Sheet – Use postage paid return envelope and mail back      
• Make sure final transcripts have been sent to university                        
• Watch for your roommate information and housing contract            
• Complete housing contract and return it to Residence Life   
• Contact your new roommate, get to know him/her, and plan out what you will be bringing.  Remember…things add up in a Residence Hall room
• Complete Math Placement Test online

(if you need to take this, it will show up as another course listed in Blackboard with the New Student Prep section)

• Complete Foreign Language Assessment online

  (those students completing a BA degree should take this)       

• Complete Writing Proficiency Exam

  (if you need to take this, it will show up as another course listed in Blackboard with the New Student Prep section)
