Summer
June 25 – 26
July 16 – 17

New freshmen attending one of the summer sessions must register online.

A final freshman orientation session will be offered on August 21.  Any students that do not attend the summer session will automatically be registered for the August 21 session.

Transfer Orientation Sessions
June 24

August 20

New students have multiple orientation options, including a summer program and a program before school starts. There is limited space available in the summer session, so register early. Students attending the summer session will free up a large block of time in August that would have normally been spent in New Student Orientation meetings.

The freshman summer orientation is a two day program open to parents and family members.  Students will be housed on campus during the program.  A list of local accommodations can be found online for parents and guests attending the program.  Separate tracks are offered for students and parents.

Please remember—attending summer orientation means that you must complete all of the preparation before the registration deadline. Housing application, financial aid paperwork, health history, immunization records, health insurance and academic assessments must all be taken care of before you are eligible to attend the summer orientation program.

Transfer orientation sessions are single day sessions.  While parents and guests are welcome to attend, we recognize the fact that many of you have been through this process before and do not need to walk through the process with the student.

More information about the program is available on the New Student Orientation Web site.

Students who do not attend one of the summer freshmen sessions or the summer transfer session will automatically be enrolled in the fall session.
