The New Student Orientation staff takes great pride in welcoming you to Averett University. The next four years promise to be an exciting time. You will meet new friends, learn from dynamic faculty, experience new cultures and countries and learn about yourself during your time at Averett. New Student Orientation is an exciting program that pulls together resources from across the university to help prepare you for the start of this new experience. It is a time to learn about Averett traditions, register for classes, meet other new students, talk to upperclassmen, learn about the resources available on campus and much more. New Student Orientation is required for all new students. New freshmen have multiple orientation options; including a summer program and a program before school starts.
