Students attending the summer session will free up a large block of time in August that would have normally been spent in New Student Orientation meetings.

Fall Freshman Orientation

All new freshmen will move-in for the fall semester on Saturday, August 18th. Those students who could not attend one of the summer orientation programs will spend the day getting caught up and taking care of everything from the summer - learning about campus, taking care of business, and finding out all the details you need to start your first semester.

Summer Orientation Housing

Students will stay on campus in Fugate Hall for orientation. Fugate Hall is one of our air-conditioned residence halls and features single sex suit style accommodations.   There are several local hotels in town for parents attending the program.   Students need to bring a pillow, sheets and a blanket - the rooms can get cold.
