Where do you want to go? Averett faculty regularly offer special travel courses. Semester or year abroad programs are available in China, Russia, Finland and Eastern European countries. Averett's foreign language faculty can assist you with study in countries where French or Spanish is spoken. Students interested in study abroad should contact the Associate Dean of Arts and Sciences in 107 Main. Study Abroad Opportunities Averett University is pleased to announce study abroad agreements with Dundee University in Dundee, Scotland and Trinity College University of Wales. Averett students may take courses for one or two semesters at these institutions and transfer credit hours to Averett. Dundee’s promotional brochure for study abroad students states: “We offer a unique and challenging education mixed with a broad range of extra-curricular activities and clubs.
