MBA Grad Believes in Self-Improvement Mark Auernheimer, a ’97 MBA graduate, received and accepted a new job offer within a year of receiving his degree. “Within a year of completing the MBA program I had a new job offer that I accepted,” Auernheimer said. “I found out later that the engineering position was to go to someone else, but the human resources manager squeezed me in late to the interviews specifically because the MBA demonstrated non-engineering competence. The MBA program let me sharpen my business understanding, and will continue to be an asset to my career in the future.” Since then, Auernheimer has taken a position as president and CEO of Sealpac USA LLC in Richmond, a position he has held since April 2007. Sealpac USA is the distributor for Sealpac MAP (Modified Atmosphere Packaging) equipment. Using MAP, the company creates sealed trays used in fresh food production, distribution and manufacturing. As president and CEO of Sealpac USA, Auernheimer would like to establish, build and secure the business foundation for the company; create opportunities and development for others; and provide contributions to the food industry. Before taking the position with Sealpac USA, Auernheimer held positions in production, engineering, sales and management with several companies including Rocco, Cargill, Tyson and CPOR Solutions. |
