Liz Cervantes Won the Academic Student Grant for the SESUG 2019 Conference

GPS Student Success Coach and Master of Science in Applied Data Analytics candidate Liz Cervantes has recently been awarded the Academic Student Grant for the SESUG 2019 Conference by the SouthEast SAS User Group. The conference will be held October 20-22 at the Williamsburg Lodge in Williamsburg, Va.

The SouthEast SAS® Users Group (SESUG) is a Regional Users Group (RUG) for users of SAS Software. SESUG’s mission is to serve and support users of SAS software in the southeastern United States through ongoing education, professional development opportunities, and facilitating communication with SAS. These goals are most directly supported by SESUG’s annual multi-day conference.

Averett’s Master of Science in Applied Data Analytics program was developed in collaboration with SAS TM, a premier, longtime trusted leader in analytics. The collaboration with SAS TM allows students access to two opportunities to include SAS TM University Edition software (for the duration of the program) at no charge. Also, built into the course work, Averett and SAS TM have joined to give students a joint certificate.
