This fall, Averett has welcomed more than 350 incoming freshmen and transfers to the university — our highest fall enrollment since 2000. Last year, there were 303 entering students (incoming freshmen and transfers). In addition, Averett’s first-time freshmen fall-to-fall retention rate has risen by 12 percent.
Indeed, of the private colleges in Virginia, Averett has the highest increase in matriculating students.
