The Averett University Division of Student Life hosted a Campus and Community Connection Fair on Thursday in the Carrington Gym. Components of the fair included a Get Involved event for AU Clubs and Organizations, a Discover Danville Cougar Business Fest, a Wellness Support event in conjunction with Suicide Prevention Month and the always popular Look Good, Feel Good Free Haircuts and Spa Day. Big thanks to UpperKuttz for the free haircuts.

The Averett Community came together for the three-hour event and invited many community groups to join in. Local businesses, non-profits, community service organizations and government agencies took part in the fair.

Along with the free haircuts, another much anticipated appearance was the therapy dog that weaved through the crowd, bringing a sense of joy and peace to the assembled group.
