Markell Poole is sophomore majoring in criminal justice from Greensboro, N.C. Poole is a resident assistant on Main Hall. He is also one of the team managers for the football team.

How do you believe Averett will help you with your degree?

“I believe that Averett will help me with my degree by preparing me with a broad set of skills it takes to succeed in any career.”

What do you like best about the University?

“The thing that I like best about my University is the close-knit atmosphere around campus with the students and faculty. Averett has many support systems to help you succeed in college and in your career.”

Why did you choose your path of study?

“I chose this path of study because I truly want to be able to make a difference in my community. I’ve always been interested in the criminal justice field, mainly in law enforcement.”
