Pearce Takes on New Role

Carly Pearce has accepted the position of Director of GPS Student Success. This was a great opportunity to promote one of Averett’s own — a leader with proven success.

In her new role, Carly will lead the GPS Student Success team after serving as Averett’s Women’s Head Soccer Coach and as an Athletics Administrator. Carly has demonstrated exemplary leadership, optimism and collaborative skills. Her career in higher education also includes working with students and focusing on improving the student experience, traits this position requires. An additional strength that Carly brings is her expertise in Life Skills. She’s cultivated teams, colleagues (and beyond) with skills that will help with the growth and development of her team and our GPS students. As you see Carly around campus, please congratulate and welcome Carly to the GPS team!

Welcome back, Nicole!

Congratulations (or Glückwünsche) Marina!
