Averett Commencement

Commencement ceremonies are a time for family and friends to celebrate the achievements of their student(s). We look forward to welcoming you to campus for this very special event. Averett holds two commencements a year – winter and spring. Commencement exercises begin at 10:00 a.m. and are held at the North Campus in our E. Stuart James Grant Convocation and Athletic Center (707 Mt. Cross Rd.). Each student has his or her name read, and receives a ceremonial hood and a diploma from the university President.
